Alpha Controls Ltd. has an extensive Health and Safety Program. As of 2009 we are SECOR certified. Our company is registered with ComplyWorks Ltd., PICS and ISNetworld, we are also a certified BC based Company with Energy Services BC.
We have a Health and Safety Program in place to monitor all maintenance, inspections, discrepancies, incidents and near misses as well as regularly scheduled safety meetings. Our hazard control system is well documented and proven effective in our workplace.
All our employees receive pre-job training and orientation on all aspects of our workplace. All field employees have their H2S Alive ticket, TDG, First Aid Level l ticket, WHMIS training and IRP 16 ticket. All employees are re-orientated and WHMIS trained annually as well as being trained on job specific work.
Our company as well as our employees complies with all WorkSafe BC and the Canadian Health and Safety Standards policies and procedures. All our field workers follow the Petroleum Industry Guiding Principles for Worker Safety.
Alpha Controls Ltd. employees and others on company worksites are responsible for obeying all safety rules, following recommended safe work practices and procedures, wearing and using personal protective equipment when required, participating in safety training programs and informing supervisors of unsafe work conditions. All work performed by the employees of Alpha Controls Ltd. must be performed in accordance with safe work practices and relevant legislation. The management at Alpha Controls Ltd. is committed to safety in every area of operations.
