Executive
Meet the 2010 / 2011 ESBC Executive
|
Dave is the President and sole owner since 2000 of Gas Link Industries, a facility and pipeline company that specializes in facility construction. Dave has been part of the ESBC executive for the past four years. He is serving as President for his second year. Dave is a strong supporter of the association and it’s unique role in supporting the BC oil and gas service sector. Dave points to the many changes the industry has encountered in the past five years and the impact on how the service sector does business. He feels strongly that the association has an important role to play with producers and explorers, governments and other organizations in representing the membership. Failure to proactively support and be involved with these organizations and their initiatives will mean that local companies may miss out on future business development in the province.

Stephen became interested in serving on the executive when he saw the transformation of NSOCSF into ESBC. The BDI and Workforce Strategy funding present this association’s membership and our Northeastern communities with a great opportunity for continued growth and prosperity. The success of the efforts of ESBC in the HOS battle was very commendable, Stephen sees this as a chance to be apart of an organization that gets things done. There are not many that have such an enviable track record as ESBC over the last couple of years. Service sector organization is vital to Northeastern BC in the battle to achieve a more level playing field as we try to expand our role in the Oil and Gas Industry. Stephen brings enthusiasm and dedication to all he undertakes. He is not afraid to wade in and ask the tough and pointed questions. |
